A brief excursion into the world of lyrics/poems which resulted in a few publications in fanzines of the time.
Started to create English language lyrics for once popular(and still popular) songs which were never covered - due to a lack of suitable English language lyrics - in their respective countries of origin (i.e., Germany, Austria, France, Spain). By providing English lyrics for these songs, the opportunity is now given for artists in the Anglo-saxon realm, to create covers for these songs and make them, with little effort, available to a much larger audience.
The following is a sample of such a translation. The original song was produced and performed by the forner East-German rock band Karat in 70s. The song is entitled Ueber Sieben Bruecken Musst Du Gehn. The YouTube video link can be found here. I'm only listing the song's refrain.
A second similar project involves turning songs with a simple, yet catchy melodie into a song suitable for children. The following example is based on the song by DÖF - Codo (Ich düse, düse im Sauseschritt) from the 80s. Again only the refrain is reproduced - this time in German.
Starting mid 2024, MobileTimesToday decides to create a feature length movie based on the first six volumes of Tales from the Alternate Universe. Since the movie will be created in large part by machine intelligence, it was also decided to produce the entire musical score by gAI. This includes lyrics, song composition, arrangement, and vocalization. Here is a sample of such an effort:
